Tina and I got up this morning and got ready immediately before heading out the back garden and over to The Phoenix House. I get there to the bustling of house elves as they finish up preparing for breakfast.

“Oh Ginny! I’m glad you’re here,” Penny tells me with a smile as she comes into the front entry. “The babies are up in the nursery and I’ve got to start lessons. All of the kids are wound up from Susan and Justin’s wedding.”

“No problem, I’ll just go on up,” I reply as I take Tina’s hand and head for the stairs. We enter the nursery and I find the cot that holds two of the smallest babies I have ever seen.

“Wittle Mumma,” Tina whispers and then puts a finger to her lips. “Shh! They seeping!”

I grin back at her and nod. They are the littlest babies…

I stay all afternoon, getting tips from Penny on how to care for them, and I fall in love. The babies are the sweetest things. They’ve opened their eyes a few times to reveal them to be blue and they both have fuzzy blonde hair on their heads. Neither has cried much and although I’m not sure that I saw it correctly, I do believe the baby boy smiled at me.

Now if only they had names.

“The Ministry doesn’t know anything?” I ask Penny later that evening before heading home.

She shakes her head sadly. “I’m afraid not. No pregnant women, especially not with twins, has disappeared.”

“Anything at Hogwarts?” I ask, thinking of the magical quill that records who is going to be enrolled at the school.

“I thought of that too and I had Susan check after they arrived, but all it says is Baby Girl and Baby Boy. It hasn’t recorded their last name.”

“That’s really odd,” I admit and put on Tina’s cloak. She was good all day long and I think she really enjoyed playing with the other kids. “I’ll be back tomorrow, then.”

“Thanks again, Ginny,” Penny gives me a hug and opens the door for me.

“Anytime,” I assure her.
