“Ginny?”

I look up at Susan who has just entered the kitchen and smile, “What’s up?”

“Hannah’s here,” she tells me and I nod, getting up from the table and leaving all the warding plans for The Phoenix House scattered about on the table.

“Let’s go meet her then,” I reply and we walk through the house to the front door and out to where Hannah is waiting. I grin broadly at her as we hug and watch as Susan does the same. I take out my wand and hold it to her as I mutter the incantation that will allow her entrance.

My Time With Luna

Luna arrives at our flat early and greets both Harry and I with a hug. I was so glad to have news from her and to be given this day with my friend. Even though Ron is… well he isn’t dead, he also isn’t doing well and Luna has always been there for me. She and I were so close our last year at Hogwarts and I want that back. I know it will take time, but I’m working forward to making that first step.

Harry leaves for the Ministry and Luna and I sit down to talk. Nevaeh instantly hops up on Luna and my old friend begins to pet her.

“Oh, a kitten!” She cries happily, stroking his soft fur. “I love kittens. They make the most delightful pets, and can understand English… although they can’t speak it, of course.” Without looking at me, she brings Nevaeh into her arms as though cradling her. “I used to talk to the Madame’s cat, Shiftie, all the time you know, when I needed to sort things out.”
